Alan twirled around in her light-blue puff-sleeved nightgown, her pull-up crinkling softly as she spun, and her eyes lit up as she described the bedroom of her dreams.
"I want a big, big canopy bed!" she exclaimed, spreading her arms wide. "With lots of fluffy pillows and curtains that hang all pretty, like a princess bed! Maybe the curtains can be pink or... or sparkly! And I want the walls to be soft red, like the color of my favorite dress! Not too bright, but like, cozy red!"
She hugged her plush bunny close, her voice full of excitement. "I want all my dolls and my stuffed animals to have their own special places, so they can sleep with me or watch me play. Maybe a shelf just for them! And I want a big, big table where I can keep my pull-ups!" She giggled, clearly pleased with the idea. "They’ll be so pretty, all stacked up in a row, with little ballet dancers on them!"
Her eyes sparkled as she thought of more details. "And the whole room can be like a ballet place, with pictures of dancers and soft music. I can dance like a ballerina! And my changing table will have all my pretty pull-ups with bows and ballerinas on them, so I can pick one out when I wake up or before bed!"
Alan gave a shy smile, looking up with wide, hopeful eyes. "That's what I want... my perfect ballet room. It’ll be so, so beautiful!"
